Artic Monkeys, " ...dance floor ..." song is a cracker! Thanks for the heads up! I've read/heard a lot about them so it's great to discover their music through this web site. I'm looking forward to the long player being released late next month in the states. Also heard another track from Josh Ritter's new disc (looks like April release- dammit!) which I hope will propel him unto the much deserved popular stage he deserves. If you dig Bright Eyes or Iron & Wine, you'll love this record.+ plus his lyric writing is realy strong. The kid is a poet. This month's Paste magzine is back on track with it's sampler disc; which is the best I've hreard many, many issues. Though no DVD this time around? Looking forward to Beth Orton's new one next week, and also, check out a band called Syd Matters. French outfit who mix folk, heavy electronis. Last but not least, Jack White and Brendan Benson's project is hear! The band is called: The Reconteurs and their website is up and running. Numerous web blogs have already leaked the new single and b-side. Catchy stuff and very 70's retro with guitar licks and solos.
