Misuse of the language can be useful: common misusages are very handy in identifying people who have strong ideas about things they don't understand very well.I can now add 'imminent domain' to my little list. A Google search of the term kicks up several hundred examples, mostly from blogs, personal webpages, letters to the editor and such.Of course, anyone who has more than a surface knowledge of the topic knows the correct term: eminent domain.
