"Jive Turkey" :: l y r i c s :: There's a full moon on the rise something's cooking in the autumn night Have you heard there's a new kind of bird of prey he goes by the name of Jive Turkey

He sees you stuffing yourselves as he perches and he scowls on the window sill he's making a deadly vow to avenge all his buddies in the gravy somehow

Jive Turkey in the shadows now Jive Turkey don't clown around

Everybody take heed Thanksgiving Day This bird on the loose is quite insane When he gobbles and he squawks you'd better run there's nothing meaner than a turkey with a scatter gun

Jive Turkey Jive Turkey

Sweat potatoes and the beans and the casserole all the kiddies flickin' peas in the jell-o mold Everybody's drinking wine Everybody's feeling fine All the wile Jive Turkey's made his way inside
