yup.

i'm printing this 'toon out and bringing it to work tomorrow; reminds me all too much of the 'debate' i've spent two years having with a coworker but have now sworn off of, as the following statements over the years were just too much for me:

1.) "If they're hiding in 'em, then bomb the mosques."

2.) "The bulldozer driver didn't see Rachel Corrie."

3.) "The prisoners in Gitmo have a better life now than they did before, because the weather's nice and they get a Koran and their choice of two types of fish for dinner."

4.) "I totally support Italy's ban on all Muslim apparel in public."

can you imagine? perviously i couldn't, but now...

then again, he spends all day alone in the wheelhouse filling up his head with Michael Savage and the like, so it's not too surprising. just sad. you can lead an idiot to facts but you can't make him think.

and so it goes.
