That was hilarious!
My fifteen minutes of fame was during the Gulf War, when I was given the opportunity to ask a CNN correspondant (via satellite) a question about the war LIVE on CNN (the 24 hour Missiles in Nightvision Cable Network). So, I asked, "What is the administration's policy for protecting Kurdish Sheepherders during this conflict and why didn't this administration act when Iraq started gas bombing them years ago?" I think it was Wolf Blitzer that stuck his finger in his ear monitor and stated that he did not have any info at that time. I was hoping he would get back to me maybe by mail or perhaps the president might stop by and explain it all. I was 20 years old, I had HUGE hair and I'm pretty sure I was wearing a Cliff Huxtable style sweater.
That's probably the first thing that got me on a list somewhere. My mom has a copy of the video tape.
I think I now have 13 minutes of fame left.
