very cool tale
Seriously thanks for taking the time to share.I've met Robin and he was very nice I met him in a place totally unrelated to a show.
When they did their 4 night stand in Chicago, of course I had to go out of town for business but at Midway airport while waiting for my flight there was a guy, maybe 5' 6" or7" in a long coat hat sunglasses and long blonde hair. It took me a few minutes but I placed him then a few more minutes to work up the nerve to say hi.I did, and laid on him the usual thanks and sorry I was gonna miss the show stuff. Apparently he was waiting for his wife and kid(s) who were deplaning off my outbound flight.I missed my opportunity to say thanks to David when he came through Chicago, couldn't work up the nerve. I read the level of posts on this page sometimes and I know I just can't hold my own in a political discussion. My excitement and my nerves kept me from telling him Thanks but I've said it on these boards before and I just have to trust he knows the fans are appreciative.
