It seems as if Merle Haggard is doing what he's always done -
thinking for himself and being honest about it. He paid his
dues a long time ago and has never forgotten where he came
from.I've always been a Haggard fan. He's written some of the best
songs about what America really is. 'If We Make It Through
December' is just as good as it gets.
