Thank you Gene, for that info! I should look for that book.
Here's another by a really nice guy from Hawaii. Zen Guitar by Phil Sudo. I used his book quite a bit when I was doing family therapy in Western Kansas a few years ago. I wrote to him and he was excited about it being used in the social work/psychology field. Apparently, he passed away this summer. Neat book. It was essential in me finding my voice and style because I spent much of my playing history trying to sound like other people. After years of hearing, "Hey paul, just play like you!" I finally heard ME recently. It's only been this year that I felt I wasn't copying anyone and just playing what my brain (or heart or stomach or whatever) wanted me to play.

Thanks!
