We're yet another small state freak show here in OR. We've been voting by mail since Monday. Early returns from Multnomah county (read: Portland) are 75/25 for Kerry. It's going to be a lot closer overall. I live in a small town (1,100) in north Marion County (read: Salem) and the support for the smirking, self-righteous, absolute truth-claiming, AWOL, one-term loser is much greater; maybe even a majority.

There's a large retirement development just south of us in Woodburn called Senior Estates. Me and Cupcake #1 took a ride around there last weekend to see what the lawn signs looked like over there. Not a BushCheney death cult sign to be seen, only Kerry/Edwards signs. I do suspect that the houses completely festooned in the US flag meant they were for the lying blow monkey, though.
