about Art Critics, Writers, and Art History Majors while I was in college. We use to call Art History a spectator sport! I don't think you can fault critics for speaking their minds or expressing their views. Criticism is a great art form and just like writing or any other exspessive form, you are going to see/hear/read different view points and ones you may not agree with. Most of us practice this art form, at many levels, here on the board everyday. Besides, I don't make music on a professional level nor do you Reg. Does that mean we can't discuss it or critique it in a public forum?
Cheers, Kevin
One of my favorite books on this matter and many more envolving the creative process and putting yourself out there, is "Letter's To A Young Poet". Any person interested/or active in the arts should read this book.
