I am exposed to far more of what Limbaugh and O'rielly say, than I am from The NYT and the LAT. I get it from this board and from my boss. And I do occasionally listen to O'rielly in the evenings as I am banished to the garage to have my smokes.
And as far as influence goes I sadly think that the short, venomous and oft repeated exaggerations and distortions are the ones that stick. It might sound ugly to admit that Americans in general are this daft, but in my estimation, its the only explanation for the fact that Kerry or say a blind chipmunk are not leading Bush in the poll's based on the actions of this current administration.
Again that's just my opinion I could be wrong. Cha cha.
