Greg Kihn has been a DJ at a Sonoma County radio station for quite some time..not sure if he's even playing or writing much anymore.
i'd like the Oils to get back together, release the best album of their career, and embark on a very political and rockin' world tour, starting in the swing states tomorrow.
i miss MC 900 Foot Jesus.
i'd like another album from Little Village and a tour.
how about Adam and the original Antz - from the Dirk Wears White Sox days?
don't know what Michael Been has been up to, but The Call could be a very powerful band some nights. he could write some good ones, that guy...sure, a slight surgical reduction in his earnestness wouldn't be the worst thing...just don't throw it away where Ani DiFranco could find it.
fishbone with the original lineup!!!!!
Jello rejoining the DK's for an Oil-like thing as mentioned above, but that ain't nevah gonna happen.
and last but actually top of the list: Dave Gregory rejoins Andy and Colin and XTC does a long tour, including 5 nights in SF at Slim's or Great American Music Hall, where they do nearly a different set every night. sigh...swoon...surrender to reality: Andy gets terrible stage fright so he won't tour; how about a Paypal fund to buy him a pallet of beta blockers?
and Mick, no one wants to read your bewildering meanderings about diminutive pan flute trios or goat-dancing lute quartets.
