I was listening to "Wondering" from "A Fine Mess", which segued randomly on ITunes into Arlo Guthrie's "City of New Orleans", and it struck me, was this the influence? Pieces of "Day Dreamer" fall into this category as well, anyone else notice? "City of New Orleans" , I've loved it since I was a Boy. Same time period for me as Dylan's "Blowin in the wind" and Tennessee Earnie Ford's 'Sixteen Tons" and, I forget who did it "Summer Wine" Nancy Sinatra?
