Besides the flaws in the Bush campaign that you cite, I suspect a big problem will be Bush's personal inability to stand up and fight for himself. He has never in his life fought a battle by himself - always it's been family or family connections that finished troubles he ran into.

Bush has shown a real talent for going on vacation and you have to think he'll wind up phoning in his re-election bid. Such a lack of enthusiasm will certainly filter down to the campaign staff, paid and unpaid.
