Paul:Thanks for posting this! Paula and I had a big laugh especially
when the reviewer referred to Sherman "George Jefferson" Hemsley
as the leader of the black soul brothers! :)But seriously, YES does span far reaching demographics among
their fan base. For me, going to see YES is like going to church ---
as it is a very deep experience for myself and my wife.On the upcoming leg of their North American tour, YESWORLD is
sponsoring a PLATINUM fan package. For $375.00 each (includes
ticket price) Paula and I will get front row seats, VIP laminate
passes, backstage meet and greet, our photo taken with the band
by a professional photographer, autographed keepsake, AND the
band members will sign ONE item in addition to the above.http://www.fanfire.com/yes/faq.htmlWhat I am going to do is get one of those HUGE Roger Dean prints
and have the band sign that. The ARCHES print is the one I am
gonna get for this purpose:http://www.rogerdean.com/printgallery/arches.htmThe upcoming leg of this North America tour will come to my area
sometime during the first two weeks in September.http://www.yesworld.com/ywnews.html#Tour_UpdatesYou know Paul --- YES has a special place in my heart. As the guys
are now getting on in age (Jon will be 60 soon!), I think that it is a
wise idea to see them at every opportunity from here on out.The excellent news is that they will finish their career as YES with
what is considered the CLASSIC YES line-up:01) Jon Anderson - Vocals02) Steve Howe - Guitars, Vocals03) Chris Squire - Bass, Vocals04) Rick Wakeman - Keyboards, Vocals05) Alan White - Drums and PercussionYES! YES! YES! A wonderful time is always had by all who attend!KDB = Buffalo, NY USA
