Attention! Achtung! The wonderful jazz of the Palindrone Floating Band has been
recently re-released on Lakeshore Records. I discovered this when
researching release dates on some of the more obscure DB
appearances. It appears to be available only at BARNES & NOBLE --- I do not
shop in that store so I cannot readily confirm this. However the interesting thing about this is the title of the album
has been changed --- as per the cover art:DAVID BAERWALD PRESENTS HURLY BURLYGone are any references to this being a film soundtrack --- even
as the cover art continues to feature SEAN PENN, MEG RYAN, KEVIN
SPACEY, and CHAZ PALMENTERI --- too fucking much!!Any-hoo, if there remains anyone here who does not own this disc,
I would suggest that you do, because it is his best instrumental
work. BLACK MAMBA KISS is on this too, so if you have A FINE
MESS, then you have already heard a track from this CD.Other standout tracks are A PRISONER'S DREAM, I DON'T KNOW
THE CODE, and THE TROUBLE WITH WOMEN.Here is the link:http://tinylink.com/?jNLbJKKeQvSo, if you are missing this title, please do your ears a favor and
turn them onto the PALINDRONE FLOATING BAND --- they could
have been the house band at the BLACK LODGE of TWIN PEAKS.Imagine that little midget guy from TWIN PEAKS dancing to THE
TROUBLE WITH WOMEN --- now THAT would be a sight! This is great that this is back in print.Turn on a friend . . . P.S. - HCTNFU is also still available also at Barnes & Noble --- here
is the link for that one:http://tinylink.com/?Ih5nP4i0VGEnjoy!KDB = Buffalo, NY USA
