MadDog:The reason why I was thinking of both 90124 and 90125 was
because I was asked the other night what single disc would I select,
if I wanted to turn someone on to YES, if I could only buy one
single disc. Naturally, because I was being asked this by my close
friend, whose son is a musician. In my iTunes music player, I have smart playlists set up that
seperate my YES library into the following subgroupings:YES - STUDIO / LIVE / Steve Howe Years / Trevor Rabin Years / The reason why I mention this is because I enjoy BOTH eras of the
band --- which because of the geographic locations the band was
based in --- they are called YES EAST (Steve) and YES WEST
(Trevor).I really enjoy Trevor's music, as it added an entirely new dynamic to
the YES music. Also, equally as important to the sound of 90125
was the producer TREVOR HORN. Trevor wrote and produced THE
BUGGLES and actually replaced JON ANDERSON of the YES DRAMA
album and tour, which happened in 1980.YES have been going now for 35 years. The only other band to have
gone on longer are the ROLLING STONES, who were around for five
years longer, and the reason why their latest tour and compilation
was called FORTY LICKS. I have been a YES fan since the very beginning, and from here on
out, I am going to take every opportunity to see them, as I don't
know how much longer they will go on. STEVE HOWE has come to
look very aged, and my wife and I have a bet whether or not Trevor
will come back to replace Steve when the time comes.Thank you for listening to YES!http://www.yesworld.comKDB = Buffalo, NY USA
