If the video is half as horrifying as my imagination tells me, I'd prefer not to see any of it.

The callousness of the US Government is being displayed as they remind us all that they told him to leave the region and he refused.  That's the kind of thing heartless buearacrats like myself say when something goes wrong and we want to distance ourselves, by putting the responsibility on the person who's hurting.  True or not, that response was poorly timed. 

I personally don't see this as a political issue anymore.  I've seen people on both sides with blue faces explaining and debating and it's not getting any better.  Perhaps it's the lack of sleep talking but I see this now as a HUMAN CRISIS. 

So, do we fiddle while it burns...or do we grab a bucket?
