Uhhm thats a quoted apology. Jeeze Pat I try to give the guy the credit he's due and you still piss and moan. And who gives a flying fuck if they aren't apologizing. They are currently the enemy (even though we'll probably be arming them again in 10 years). Yes the atrocities they have inflicted are more severe, but it is US the grand and glorious US of A, the bastion of all that is right that is supposed to be a leader. And we should be leading by example.

This is not the damn Jr. High playground. He hit me first. Jimmy did it too. Because some of them are murderous thugs that means its OK if we are too? That we should sink to that level?? Isn't that what where fighting for?? To break this history of oppression and violence??

I want to think you are a good man who loves his country, family and friends and is loyal to a fault but my God somebody has to be the bigger person (figurative) and do the right thing. I'm begging you Pat to open your mind and think through the actions we as a country take and if its wrong, OBVIOUSLY WRONG, see to it that we do the right thing asap and that you support us doing the right and Christian thing. Thats my vision of America anyway.

I don't think that BUSH could have prevented it, he is not personally to blame. We all can agree on that, but he IS the one who needs to act as the face of America, and that means righting the wrongs. If he could possibly manage to wipe that shit eating smirk off his face a few seconds and act like he means it....it could only help.

Pat your so vocal and willing to post your rhetoric (which is what it is when your unwilling to entertain any other opinion) that you have to realize that some here may feel compelled to challenge your views. Someday with the benefit of hindsight, I only hope you will be able to see things even slightly differently than you do now. Anti Bush remarks are no longer just party line complaints anymore. We're in the shit up to our eyeballs and the leader is doing a pathetic  job of being the moral compass we need him to be.
