Icon Why all the fighting? It's a societial thing . . .

Greetings:

Many people have speculated as to why people cannot seem to act civil anymore. Some people here have attempted to place the blame for this on me --- however, there have been all manner of fights and meltdowns that had nothing at all to do with me. Two recent examples were what George Atkinson did to David, and some other asshole posting here by using the name of one of David's deceased friends --- I mean, how LOW can a person get?!?!? Also, I have nothing to do with Kevin G's obsession with abortion, and yet, Reg took him to task for that, also recently.

Because both pyschology and sociology are keen interests of mine, I for one, have done a great deal of thinking about this very subject.

One of the conclusions that I have come to about this mean- spiritedness is that it has to do with what we are all surrounded by in our society, which, whether we wish to admit to it or not, our society is crumbling. This, I believe, is being done on purpose to destroy national identity in the minds of the people, and to also ultimately destroy national sovereignity.

The manner in which our society is set-up, from cradle to grave, is all for maintaining a sense of normalcy, and also to reinforce that we all must follow this path of normal. This is pounded into all children's heads during the school years, where both classical and operant conditioning are used to carry out this task for the social engineers. The level of documentation that backs this up, is out there, and it should be sought out by everyone who has school age children.

One thing for sure that is happening, is that people from all over are waking up to the fact that our government is corrupt, and this is proven in the fact that people like DAVID ICKE and ALEX JONES are getting many millions of visitors to their informative websites on a month by month basis.

So, the only way that the social engineers can fight this is to set us off against one another. It is the old DIVIDE AND CONQUER routine, and the sad part is that most people fall for it time after time.

Two of the things that I have been closely monitoring during the writing and research for my book, is the presentation of normalcy on television, and also, how arguments and discussions are portrayed on all broadcast networks in the USA. I have been monitoring this for three years now, and I have come to a few conclusions that I want to share with all of you.

Has anyone noticed that in situation comedies on television, shows like EVERYBODY LOVES RAYMOND or THE KING OF QUEENS, that the content of these shows display arguments and sniping at each other, even though on TV, this might be done in a cute or funny manner? It's just one insult after another, and after people see this junk week in and week out, year after year, these behavior patterns that are shown on television, are transferred to our daily interactions with friends and family.

This process is called TRANSFERENCE.

When a person sees the same things over and over ad nauseum, they begin to believe subconsciously, that it is normal to behave in this exact manner.

The same goes for the talking-heads political shows, where it is nothing but bitching back and forth, with no one taking responsibility for their own behavior. People watching this at home sooner or later come to believe that this is normal discourse --- when in fact it is anything but normal. In fact, this is displayed so pervasively, that someone like Kevin G. believes that the world is filled with NOTHING but RIGHTIES AND LEFTIES.

But, if you look closely at those who do not vote at all, well over 100 million people in this country alone, one cannot rightly call them RIGHT OR LEFT, because they profess no allegiance to any ideology. If anything, they believe that it is a complete waste of time voting for the LESSOR OF TWO EVILS --- or as Michael Moore puts it --- the EVIL OF TWO LESSORS.

While the political ideologues attempt to get us all to believe that every solution is either BLACK OR WHITE, a BINARY choice --- nothing could be further from the truth of what's really out there. Take the abortion issue, for example. There are many, many shades of grey there. This is why a situation like abortion must be taken on a case by case basis --- everyone's situation is different.

Everywhere all around us in our daily lives, all we see is fighting. The fighting between ideas, politics, egos, and our own fighting for a few moments of peace and quiet --- where we don't have to think about these things for awhile.

Think about this the next time you go to watch something on television for an evening's relaxation. How much fighting and bickering do you see? How about the political talk shows? Because it is ALL nothing but fighting. In a sitcom, the fighting hides behind the audience's laughs. In the political shows, the fighting hides behind the ideas discussed.

In the end, it is still fighting.

It would do everyone here a great deal of good if you all would read the following two books (which can be downloaded for free from various online sites). Or if you cannot find them online, I would be more than happy to send copies of the PDF files I have of these two books:

01) The Art Of War - Sun-Tzu (66 pg. PDF file)

02) The Prince - Nicolo Machiavelli (218 pg. PDF file)

Reading both of these will go a long way toward understanding why and how the DIVIDE AND CONQUER routine works so well. Just in the past few months, the amount of people openly discussing the crimes of the government have exponentiated themselves. While this is a pleasure to finally see, there are still far too many people looking at the world in the manner that benefits those who have stolen power and should not be in power.

For those two or three people who insist that this is all somehow my doing or my fault --- you fail to see that while I may be the easy target --- I did not encourage or force George to attack David in such a vicious manner. Likewise, I have never done something so crass as to post messages in the name of David's deceased friend, either.

So, instead of all of us banding together to fight the REAL ENEMY, the REAL ENEMY has set us off against one another --- that way, we'll never get to the heart of the matter. This suits them just fine.

I submit to everyone reading these words --- this is the problem we all should be looking to conquer. This is much bigger of an obstacle than the catty bitch-fests that go on here constantly.

And because this is the manner in which our society has DEVOLVED, all of those who post hurtful invectives, should do so through private message. For instance, Arizona Kevin saw fit to get very mean at me for my posting my own feelings about what George did to David --- which was way out of line --- but Kevin started a whole seperate argument for absolutely no reason at all, other than to take cheap shots at me. However, he has no more right to tell me to shut up, than I do to tell him to do the same.

Listen people, here is the bottom line . . .

This continuing bad behavior is not necessary, and it does not make this place any nicer to be when people are acting their worst. I would hate to see David pull the plug just because certain people do not know how to act like adults.

The reason why most of us are here is because of our love for David and his music. Therefore, why not respect this privilege, and raise the bar a bit, to RESPECTFUL DISAGREEMENT? If this continues for too much longer, this place might slip into the void and disappear.

And this is NOT to take cheap shots at anyone in particular, as I have done my own share of this bad behavior in the past.

And Dan and Pat:

If I were in charge of this website, I would post some civility rules. I would take the arguments offline and private, and remind people once in awhile that this continued bad behavior may lead to expulsion. If that is what it would take, then so be it.

I for one really enjoy the fact that I can interact with David and most of the people here. And, I would hate to see this go away because people cannot act their age. This is the point we are at folks, for better or for worse.

Think about this . . . this continued fighting is not worth the effort and all participants are wasting energy that could be better spent elsewhere.
