A few questions.  I just want to know.  Have any of the participants in this death penalty "debate" ever witnessed an execution?

Just wondering, but I'm thinking not. 

Have you been to a prison? Gotten a chance to talk to inmates? Guards? Wardens? (I'm sure at this point someone will mention to me that they were incarcerated at one point or that they work at a prison.) Perhaps if we could hear from those of you with experience in this area?

Anyone in this group have murdered family members?  Anyone's family members ever been put to death in a state funded execution? If so, I'd be really excited to hear your point of view.

Now that we've heard the opinions, I'm hoping to hear from an informed source.
