i have no doubt that many things are being accomplished that are helpful to the average Iraqi, and that thought doesn't bother me at all; good for them. and of course the media, whatever its perceived bias, always focuses on conflict, because that's more gripping (entertaining) to the average viewer.

but in the meantime our port security is underfunded, our educational system infrastructure decaying while tuition is rapidly increasing, etc etc. - to name just two. and Iraq'll soon need another $70 billion out of our broke pockets...so to me, it's about priorities.

rarely is the high charge of treason accurate for those who choose to use the right to speak one's mind in this (supposedly free) country. war in Iraq? legions call it an elective mistake.
