Looks like you and I read the same source originally.  I just posted my version on how to deal with this contingincy up a few lines...so check it out.  I'll admit, it would be more difficult, but I think the outcome would be preferrable.

And I'll say this publicly, when I heard about the incident last week in Fallujah and the huge number of casualties our soldiers are taking, my FIRST reaction is to "Nuke em back to the stone age."  That's the fear talkin' though. 

I believe that since we're there, we need assume control gently.  The resolve that our esteemed president keeps talking about comes soaked with our own blood. He signed us up for this.  And if we get sloppy, the mission will fail.   Careful and consistent is the only way to control human behavior.  If all you do is increase an already deep seeded hatred, its just gonna get worse. 

But the deed is done Pat. Hopefully, we'll re-group and make the best of the situation.
