I have been getting a lot of comments on this subject again, so allow me to answer this once more.

Q - Doesn't your use of ALL CAPITALS in message board postings signify that you are SHOUTING?

A - No, my own use of periodic ALL CAPITAL LETTERS is inconsistent with SHOUTING through e-mail and internet message board postings. It is used for emphasis only.

Please remember that I am using a Macintosh OS X Panther system, and I am also using the web browser called SAFARI, which is made by Apple. SAFARI is currently on version 1.2, so it is a relatively new browser.

Because of some bug that has arisen because of SAFARI and the particular message board system here at the DBIS --- I have no formatting buttons on my message posting screen.

I sent several messages to both Pat and Dan and even Apple themselves, but so far I have not been able to resolve this problem.

Thusly, my usage of ALL CAPITAL LETTERS should denote BOLD lettering. Until this is fixed, you will all have to bear with me on this one folks. However, it has now gotten into my typing habits, so I have to try to limit my usage of this style in other media.
