Yow! dude, way to refute!
Condensed version - Republicans blocked, diluted or underfunded any Clinton proposed legislation for eight years while simulaniously diverting 500 (more or less) FBI agents to Ken Starr (and away from rooting out terrorist cells in the US). The record bears this out, and is being used by MoveOn to lay the blame at the feet of those who so richly deserve it. Our current President went to ground while Guilliani took the lead and reassured the country in the hours after 9/11. He followed that up by trying to block Homeland Security Legislation until it became to much of a political liability to do so. Ditto the 9/11 commission. Ditto the Palme Investigation. He continues to block and obfuisicate on both.
As for the statement - would you rather go with the UN or "with us or a'gin us". I'd go with a Presedent who keeps his eye on the target - Osama Bin Laden - instead of taking a year off to start some half - asssed domino theory of democracy in the middle east, which is really a thinly veiled plan to put our own litte despot (Chalibi) into power, replacing our last little despot, who went out of our control. All this with time left over to hunt down Osama in time for the Ocober suprise.
I said it at the start, and I'll say it again - this is a failed Imperialist Policy and I don't see anything in the current situation to change my mind. I'll further predict - Bloody Cu within a year after Chalibi is named Prime Minister.
