Seems like a waste of good material.  Perhaps you should send your DB stuff to someone else to have it "cleansed"...have em send it back and then you've got all that material from Someone Else.

Personally, I'd like to see if Pat returns and see if he too has apologies, like we all tend to from time to time.  Because we're all hot-heads by nature, it wouldn't suprise me if his comments were a knee jerk reaction...rather than just a "Being-a-Jerk" reaction. 

In almost any small group setting, be it on line, a family, a work group or whatever, you'll see this happen from time to time.  People just suddenly decide that they no longer wish to hide themselves anymore and they really OPEN UP.  Actually, it's quite healthy as long as the "insides" aren't too offensive to the group.  This is where the groups natural immune system kicks in.  If the person no longer fits...the group makes them uncomfortable and they jettison themselves.  Sometimes the offending individual is assimilated by the group and they fall in line with the group's natural rules and way of life.  Sometimes, the "opening up" causes other folks to allign themselves with that person and the group divides.  In any way...it's natural.

The funny thing is...here we all are...from all over the world and the same scenarios end up playing out here as if they would had we all been in the same room.
