I can give you no better example of the wide gulf between public perception and reality --- then my very own situation here on the DBIS.

For 24 straight months I ran an experiement that I called OPERATION PARANOIA. This was designed to highlight the public perception of the so-called conspiracy researcher. I even mentioned numerous times that I was running a PSY OP --- but that did not stop some individuals from attempting to label me a paranoid crazy who only exists to sprout off the latest and greatest theory.

However, as about fifteen people here know from their own first hand experience --- I am NOTHING AT ALL like that public perception --- a public perception that was created and nurtured by myself and done on purpose.

So, when you see or read something online, take it with a grain of salt.

If you Gene, would have kept to that public perception of myself, you never would have bothered getting to know me better.
