Roger (and anyone else interested):

I suggest that you look into a new so-called privacy mandate for the medical industry --- the Health Insurace Portability Act (HIPAA) --- this by itself is the end of patient-doctor confidentiality.

The feds can use the Patriot Act to get FULL DETAILS of anyone they choose by using the combination of the two (HIPAA and the PATRIOT ACT).

I have been a medical-rights advocate since 1984, and I am currently involved as a BETA-TESTER of a new medical records system. I am the ONLY patient in the USA to be already up and running with this thing. Everyone else is still working with their training account.

Yes, this is a PRIVACY ISSUE. However, by couching it within the abortion debate, there will be all manner of invective thrown at the situation.
