Local police used a bean bag gun to subdue a man in a standoff after he (allegedly) shot his pregnant girlfriend in the eye. (she and baby are doing well) My son and I were surfing channels looking for school closing info after wednesday's big snow and we were treated with what looked like a guy getting shot in the face by a shot gun. Glad they told us it was just a beanbag gun...or I'd be having nightmares. Glad my son was looking the other way. I'd rather have him see Janet's boobies than that kind of violence any day.
Ok...and just in case you're curious, final repair bill for my frozen pipes deal...just over $800. I think it's low because I'm in Kansas.
