As far as I know, that's why we pulled out of negotiations before the UN vote - Had the vote gone ahead and we went in against the UN, They would have legal grounds to charge us with war crimes in the world court.
It'll be interesting to see who gets appointed to the "Independent" investigation... What a crock.
