Even though I had been a ZAPPA fan for many years --- I never appreciated things like Bruce Bickford's claymation until I read and understood what the DADA ART MOVEMENT was all about.

Then --- things made much more sense to me.

BABY SNAKES was pretty funny during the part when Bickford was describing how all the negative monster energy was seeping up through the hollow earth and into the DISCOS of the late 1970's. That alone was worth the price of admission.

Also --- my absolute favorite band that ZAPPA ever had was what I will choose to call the SHEIK YERBOUTI band. Featuring the great ADRIAN BELEW --- this lineup is also featured on a three CD set titled Läther (but pronounced LEATHER), as well as the BABY SNAKES DVD. They also ppear on various other projects as a song here and a song there.

You know Block --- just an idea --- but do you think we could ever get ADRIAN BELEW and DAVID BAERWALD to do something together?!?!

THAT would be SWEET!
