The county/sherriffs office make an excellent point.  Calling and hassling the Law Enforcement offices just slows the process down.

At some level, every contact that comes into a law enforcement office, depending on the case, must be followed up on. So, if we think Alex was unjustly roughed up by Law Enforcement, then to see him proven innocent will occur in less time if fans keep quiet.  Of course, if someone SAW something, I hope they speak up. 

Considering the number of proven drunk and disorderly cases vs. the number of proven police brutality cases...one might just think that Alex should plea the whole thing down,  do some community service...like pickin' up trash at the Naples Beach.  I can think of worse punishments.
