I bought my lovely wife the Lord of the Rings Extended Discs and the kids have had them rolling non-stop since christmas.  So, I've thought a lot about the second class treatement of Hobbits.  Having NOT seen the third installment, nor having read it, I wonder how Hobbit status will end up.  I wonder if PC will enter Middle Earth.

Will terms like Halflings or Shirefolk, which seem so inocuous now become more offensive?

Will Orcs and the like use more sensitive terms to refer to humans rather than Manflesh? 

How 'bout the wizards and their far from Colorblind ways.  Instead of Gandalf the White...will it become Gandalf the Monochromatic? 

And how 'bout with fashion?  Will female hobbits, becoming more concerned about their appearance in intimate settings actually shave their feet?

Someone stop me.  I'm just bored.  I'm sorry.  I'll stop now.
