I recently disovered that I now get the TRIO cable network. Heaven for a TV junkie like myself. Brillant But Cancelled is a time shlot were they run series that were lauded but cancelled. Stuff like Bakerfield PD, Action and probably soon Arressted Development....
Why a couple of days ago when I discovered we get the TRIO network my wife and I spent a fine evening watching The Celebrity Network Battle of The Stars. Good to see Robert Conrad, Erin Grey, Gil Gerard (with TWIKI doing the inbetween tallys(Geek Alert) ), Ed Asner, Robert Hayes and of course Willie Ames. With the fine hosting skills of Howard Cossell and Billy Crystal. Maybe it was because she's too pregnant to fight me for the remote?
