Once again --- my point in bringing that up is that most people do not have the foggiest idea of what it is when someone refers to and uses the word SEMITIC.

Look it up in the dictionary --- it does not mean anti anything --- it refers to language and not religion.

The people who propagate DISINFORMATION without knowing about what it is they are supporting --- they are the reason why this has a second meaning.

And if you want to get technical --- approximately 90% of those alive today who identify and belong to the Jewish faith are not from the Semitic line. In order for that to be true --- they would have to be from the Middle East.

Today, the largest (90%) group of people who call themselves Jewish are descendants from the Russian Orthodox Jewish line and these people in no way could be referred to as Semitic.

If someone was against such people --- it would be both historically and factually incorrect to refer to them as belonging to the Semitic line --- or for their opponent to be anti-Semitic as people are sometimes accused of being.

Sorry if Jeff thinks this is "splitting hairs" --- but the disctinction is important.

Since this country has reached the pathetic state where most people merely parrot what they see or hear on TV --- those with their own secret agendas continue to blur the disctinction between what should or should not be properly called Semitic.

There is an interesting article on this subject written by the Rabbi Mordechi Weberman entitled BECAUSE WE ARE JEWS. This article has some interesting points to make about how both the Jews and the Palestinians are BOTH being manipulated to further the Zionist agenda.

If you think about it --- religion has been used constantly throughout the ages to divide people --- when in fact it should have nothing to do with keeping people seperate. All religions advocate tolerance --- except when an excuse is needed to go to battle.

The sad irony here is that all human beings have much more that should unite us --- as opposed to what already divides us.
